Take the challenge!  Choose two or three of these activities to create a fun-filled day:  mountain biking, pond study, orienteering, predator and prey, and/or outdoor skills.

ITINERARY

 

MAP

This is a very flexible program, and may change in order to meet the needs of the teachers, and to accommodate the number of students on site. If the group is large, is recommended that they be split up to do each of the activities. We will then operate on a rotational basis. A sample program could be as follows:
   
I. Welcome
Introductions
Explanation of day's schedule
Washrooms, water, depositing excess gear, checking clothing
Reminders: garbage, recycle, keeping buildings clean, etc.
   
II. Split into Groups and Rotate through Morning Activities. Choose from:
Mountain biking
Pond study
Orienteering and navigation
Predator and prey
Outdoor skills
   
III. Lunch
   
IV. Afternoon Rotate from Morning Activities
Mountain biking
Pond study
Orienteering and navigation
Predator and prey
Outdoor skills
   
V. Clean Up
   
VI. Store Equipment
