| The purpose of this program is to introduce students
to life as a voyageur, by paddling a voyageur canoe, the mode
of transportation used to travel the North Saskatchewan River.
Stop at Fort Edmonton Park to tour the fur trading post if pre-arranged.
A preliminary introduction will cover equipment discussion,
paddling techniques and water safety. As well, the group will
help to unload our canoes. The needs, abilities, and desires
of the group will be taken into consideration and the program
can be adjusted accordingly. A typical program could run as
